Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing BTF-LIGHTING. We are dedicated to providing high-quality LED lighting products. To ensure you have a clear and fair understanding of our after-sales services, please review the following Return and Warranty Policy.

 

1. Warranty Period

BTF-LIGHTING products are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 18 month from the date the order is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier. Please inspect your items promptly upon receipt.

Please refer to the specific warranty duration for different product categories:

LED Strips&Controllers & Power Supplies: 18 months

 

2. Scope of Warranty Coverage

We promise to provide free repair or replacement for products that fail to function normally due to material or workmanship defects during the warranty period.

This warranty does not cover:

Products outside the warranty period.

Damage resulting from incorrect installation, misuse (e.g., over-voltage, incorrect cutting/soldering, reverse wiring), accidents, unauthorized modifications, or natural disasters.

Normal wear and tear or product aging.

Products purchased through unauthorized third-party resellers. For items bought via authorized platforms, please contact the respective platform's seller for after-sales support.

 

3. How to Request a Warranty Replacement

To ensure efficient processing, please follow these steps and provide complete information:

Initiate a Request: Contact our after-sales team via email at kitty@btf-lighting.com.

Provide Required Information: The following details are essential for processing your claim:

Order Number and confirmation email (to verify purchase and warranty status).

Registered email address used for the order.

Product model(s) and quantity of the affected item(s).

Detailed problem description, supported by clear photos or videos (e.g. close-ups of faulty areas, overall installation context).

Important Notice: Our technical team will review your claim within 1-2 business days. We reserve the right to request additional testing videos/photos for diagnosis. Claims with incomplete information (missing order number, description, or evidence) cannot be processed until all details are provided.

 

4. Product Evaluation & Shipping Responsibility

Problem Confirmation: Our team will determine if the issue is a covered manufacturing defect based on the provided information.

Shipping Costs:

For confirmed manufacturing defects: BTF-LITHTING will cover the shipping cost for sending the replacement.

Unauthorized Returns: BTF-LITHTING do not accept returns shipped without prior authorization from our after-sales team and will not be liable for any shipping losses.

For Authorized Returns: After shipping the return package, please provide your order number and the return tracking number to our team. We will process your replacement or refund within 1-2 business days after receiving the returned item.

 

5. Product Replacement

Approved replacements will be for the same product model. The warranty for the replacement product will either continue from the remaining period of the original product or start a new from the replacement date, as determined by BTF-LIGHTING.

 

6. Refunds

As our products are primarily electronic components often used in custom installations, our primary after-sales service is technical support and product replacement. We generally do not offer refunds for warranty claims but will provide replacements for confirmed quality issues within the warranty period. 

 

BTF-LIGHTING reserves the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice. We recommend reviewing it periodically. The final interpretation of this policy rests with BTF-LIGHTING.
